November Card Class

Growing Green Card Class

Saturday 20 November, Chews House Dunstable, 2pm – 4.30pm

In November’s Card Class we will be making a collection of cards in presentation case. These cards would make a lovely Christmas Present, either for someone else or for yourself!

This class is free of charge when you purchase the specially selected class bundle.

• Growing Green Stamp Set (Wood Mount)
• Woodland Walk Designer Series Papers
• Watercolour Paper

The class bundle costs £35, which includes a saving on the full purchase price, free post and packing and your class fee.

Without the bundle the class costs £15 per person which includes all the materials you need to complete the projects.

Decembers Class will be on Saturday 11 December and we will be covering those last moment Christmas projects – pretty ideas for wrapping presents, decorations and place settings. Full details soon.

Two October Stampdest Events Announced

We have two very exciting Crafting Day's coming up - all the fun that is October Stampfest.

At each event there will be three full classes, raffles and prizes as well as a lot of laughter and fun. At the end of the day as well as taking your finished projects home you will also be taking home a full Stampin’ Up! Stamp Set to use on future projects.

During the October events you will make an adorable hand bag filled with coordinating cards, a card organiser and a card with matching gift box.

We are able to offer you the following choice of dates:

 

Sunday 3 October 2010, with Bekka Prideaux & Becki Ritson at 1st Kesgrave Scout Hall, Kesgrave, Ipswich . Book this event by 25 September.

or

Saturday 16 October 2010, with Bekka Prideaux & Karen Young at Chews House in Dunstable. Book this event by 3 October.

Both days will start at 10am and we expect to finish by about 4.30pm. We will be completing the same projects at both events.

The days cost £45 which includes all the materials you will need to complete the projects, light refreshments and as much or as little tuition as you need. Lunch is not included, we ask that you bring your own so we can be sure you get something you enjoy!

Booking in advance is essential and since places are limited we recommend you book as soon as possible.

Colourful Blooms

Make a collection of cards featuring hand coloured cards. you will try a variety of colouring and stamping techniques to achieve this colourful collection.

  Stamp It Your Way

  Make a Play Date with some of the Stamp Sets and Colours on the Last Chance List.  Join us for this class where what you create is up to you. You will be provided with a selection of card, ribbon & accessories and will have access to the complete range of Stampin’ Up! Stamp Pads and a selection of the Stamp Sets which are on the Last Chance List. You will also have as much or as little guidance as you require.

  
  

  This creative and fun session costs £5 or can be taken for free if you place an order of £35 while you are at the class (excluding an order for the Colourful Blooms class bundle)

Wall Hanging Mini Class

For a while I have been looking at a particular spot on my bedroom wall thinking I really need to find something pretty to display there. Do you have a space in your home that is just like that - needing something special to make it look just wonderful?

I decided to make a wall hanging and here is what I came up with.

Would you like to make something similar? Well I have decided to offer this project as a mini class. As well as being great for those spots round the house that need a lift, it is ideal to make as a gift (if you can bear to part with it).

To take this mini class you will need to get a group of 5 or more people together and, if you live within a hour’s drive, I will bring the class to you. For those of you living further away a postal version of this class will be possible. The friends you get together do not need to be experienced crafters and don’t even have to have an interest in card making or scrapbooking (yes such people do exist!). The class project is customisable to suit the decor in your home or the home of the person you are going to be giving it to. The Mini Class will cost £5 and for anyone who spends £30 or more on Stampin’ Up! Products at the class I will refund the class fee. Get Ready For Christmas the Feeling Crafty Way (2010)

I don’t know about you but I find each year getting ready for Christmas is a real rush – it always seems that I blink and suddenly Christmas is here! Last year some of my customers and I tried something different which helped us to avoid the last moment rush and be able to enjoy the festive season.

So this year I am offering you the chance to do the same and would like to invite you to join me at one of my Get Ready for Christmas Stamping Extravaganza.

Once you have attended one of these fun packed events you will be well on the road to being ready for the festive season. More specifically you will have
• Created at least 30 Christmas Cards
• Created at least 10 Gift Tags
• Created an Advent Calendar
• Had a fun festive day
• Have a stamp set to take away with you


So what will happen?

We will meet at 10am and start our day with a cup of tea or coffee and then start by making our Advent Calendars. After a short break we will make our first batch of Christmas Cards before lunch.

While we eat our lunch (please bring your own) we will have plenty of time to chat and if we want to swap Christmas Stories.

After lunch we will make more Christmas Cards and our gift tags. As ever you will receive as much or as little help making the projects as you require.

Now since it is a party, there will be music playing in the background (festive of course!) and lots of chances to win prizes – well you can’t have a party without presents now can you!

It is expected that the party will finish at about 4.30pm

So what does all this cost?

The cost of attending this party is £45 (the same as last year). For this you will receive
• a class kit containing over £40 worth of Stampin’ Up! product including a full stamp set which is yours to keep

• as much help and instruction as you require

• Tea, coffee and soft drinks. Please bring your own lunch.


When can I come?

There are currently two opportunities to attend a Get Ready for Christmas Party. Saturday 31 July or Saturday 11 September, both of which will be at Chews House in Dunstable.

Due to the inclusion of a stamp set to keep and the quantity of other product involved it is essential to book a place at this party in advance. A deposit of £20 will also be required to secure your place. Bookings must be made and deposits paid at least 2 weeks before the Party Date, so if you want to come to the party on 31 July your deposit must be paid by 17 July, while if you want to come to the 11 September Party your deposit must be paid by 30 August.
